My son just installed the EVGA GeForce 8600 GTS Video Card - 512MB GDDR3 and all we get is the blue screen with options of repair or start in normal mode. We have new Gateway F530S with Vista installed. We have reinstalled the original card and machine works fine but when we try to install this card again, we keep getting the same screen.
Any suggestions? |

you will find with a gateway you need to upgrade the power supply as well
you need a min of 26amps on the 12v+ line when isearch for the computer it all comes up in chinese or japanese so i could not check what you have
