No signal with s-video and 7800GTX/vivo

I'm using the vivo adaptor which came wit the card with s-video cable but theres no signal, i've tried two displays now and nothing.

What am I missing? or does it just not work like this?

Ok, there does appear to be a signal when the system posts but when I get into windows, nothing. Is vivo supported in vista? do I need a seperate driver for it?

I'm assuming you're using a TV display. It might be your graphics card using a resolution that your display doesn't support. Boot with a normal computer screen, set the resolution to something very low, shut down, plug in the TV screen and boot.
