PSU for this 8800GTS 320.
Hello all.
A friend of mine is looking to add a graphics card. Specifically, this one. Trouble is, she has this PSU, which is remarkably weak and I know it'll choke on that card (not to mention it doesn't even have a PCIe connector). So I'm trying to find something reasonably priced for her small budget that will have the gusto to handle that thing. Considerations thusfar are: Rosewill: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182075 FSP 400W (skirting it): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104046 FSP 500W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104037 The last one being likely on the extreme edge of the budget. She's looking to get something that will last her through this current generation of games and not be a slideshow. The rest of the computer is relatively solid, the PSU it has is just horrid and it only has an IGP. Any suggestions? |
