problems whit my display
hi...ived tryed to look for help on every forum i know, for this problem that i have..but still no answer...
Iam having problems whit my display(i have a PNY GeForce8600GT 512Mb DDR3)..how to say it...i brought a new pc and a new lcd tft LG monitor....the problem is,whit that monitor i was geting the "ghosting effect",very very bad "ghosting effect"...i switched to my old ctr monitor and things are better now...but i still have a little bit of ghosting effect(i think is it ghost effect)is like when iam in desktop and iam draging an opened window from one side of the monitor to another, the edges of that opened window are fuzzy....it looks like iam having no display driver installed(like the generic display driver is installed)but on a much little little scale(in games like fifa08 when iam shooting at goal or when iam making a long pass and game gets more faster, the imagine becomes fuzzy,it looks like the monitor cant catch up whit hte game.I have try'ed on 3 different ctrs and 2 lcd's whit same result) On my old pc whit a Assus 1600x series 256Mb...i had a similar problem but back then i was just closing the GamerOSD from assus and 3D applications will runs smoth... Any ideas what this is? My PC spec:CPU:Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2,4GHz eVGA:PNY gf8600gt 512Mb RAM:4Gigs DDR2 HDD:2x 500Gb 7200rpm |

Yeah...I would try your graphics card in another PC... What else...hmm...Can you think of any other problems that your PC is having? Because it could be something else entirely...But we need to know any and all symtoms your PC is having... UPDATE: The Low PSU could actaully be the thing at falt. which means its probably causing stress on your parts... Lets go ahead with the try on the other PC... But Shop for a PSU...So your PC wont die anytime soon...Probably would be best to buy one with another case...So we need to know more about your comp. Its just as expencive to buy a PSU as to buy a case with one. Its easier to rebuild than to replace a PSU... Not to mention the 2 hrs. of tedous work... Re: problems whit my display
well...iam sure that the grapich card isnt the problem...coz as i said i have a gf8500gt whit same simptoms when i put it in my pc.
But about PSU...i didnt have any problems whit both gf8500gt & gf8600gt like frezzing in game ,blue screen,or any others problems that ived seen that peoples whit low PSU have(ived played asassins creed about 4 hours in a row and it ran like a charm*excepting that enoying lack of vsync or fuzzynes i dont know how to call it*) aaa...and btw on my pny gf8600gt i dont have a 4 pin plug for a direct power cable from psu.Now iam asking if there is any other solution because i dont have the money to spend on a new psu.. Re: problems whit my display
you need to borrow one 550w+ if you can
check if you have room to lift the refresh rate

Re: problems whit my display
yes it does, todays computers demand quality whereas in the days of win 98 you could get away with just about anything
it started with xp and power requirements have been like a snowball going downhill skyrocketing along the way Power Supply Information and Selection
