8600gt - Graphics card help

Hey guyz im about to buy a Geforce 8600GT Super+ / 1GB / PCI Express X16 / Graphics Card

But no idea if my PC can handle it.

some of my PC specs are

Windows XP

CPU Type - AMD Athlon 64, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3200+

Total Memory - 1214 MB

Video Adapter ATI Radeon Xpress 200 (RS480) Chipset ( This is what i got not )

i got 300W or well thats what it says on the tin , and how do i get / replace a PSU?

there are only 4 screws on the back that hold them in and removing the plugs and replugging the new ones in

I suggest you don't go for the 1Gb model since no games require that much graphics memory. Go with a 512Mb or even 256Mb model with a factory overclock like XFX 8600GT XXX edition for the same price. Any games that require more than 256Mb of graphics memory will lag on a 1Gb 8600GT anyway.
