Question What does it do ????

I have just recently discovered I have a question mark next to my video controller in Device Manager, I tried to update it but wizard says it cant find it. I havent had any noticable problems with my computer so do I need it? If so, how do I fix it?

I would just ignore it since there aren't any problems.

Hello Lexi

Do you have a seperate video card or are you using onboard video ?

What is your system, prebuilt or a custom build ?

Have you installed anything or reinstalled your operating system ?

We just need a bit more back ground

Re: What does it do ????

Hi...
I had a new Motherboard installed bout 12 mths ago, it was a prebuilt system when I bought it new- 4 years ago. I always update drivers as I play games, but cannot play games downloaded from Bigpond which is how I came to find out about the video card. Thanks..........

Re: What does it do ????

What graphics card do you have? Which games don't run?

If you have integrated graphics, that might be what's causing the yellow triangle to show up. Go into your BIOS and disable it.
