BSoD!!

well... this happens again after a very long tym happily playing with my PC.. i dont know why it occurs again..

it says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Just by the tym im playing the COD4... is this related to the VGA??... but the VGA is cool around idle 52C and load less than 65C...

here i provided my pc temps... (as attachment)

and when i send the error report to microsoft, it says " This problem was caused by an error in your computer's random access memory (RAM). Microsoft is unable to determine if this problem was caused by a hardware or software issue, although this type of problem is usually caused by hardware.

Troubleshooting

Microsoft recommends that you download and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool on your computer to find out if this is a hardware or software problem. On most computers, you can download the diagnostic tool, read the documentation, run the test, and complete the test in less than 30 minutes."

tell me what i shoulod do... :S this BSoD appears when im playing games!! :((

oh btw, besides that, is all my temps normal? its a quad core and yesterday i just change the paste using arctic silver 5...dun see so much change but the guidelines says changes can be seen after 200hours ..

Re: BSoD!!

Download Memtest86: http://www.memtest86.com/

Let it run, see if you get any errors.

Re: BSoD!!

ok, sorry , oversight with the vista thing

chose the iso zip image, unzip it and burn it to a cd. Then restart, make sure the bios boots from cd and that your cd is in the drive.

Re: BSoD!!

well i think ive done the burning process and also the memtest results... heres the attachment pic..so is that tells that everything runs fine and smooth?

well i guess the BSoD appears due to overclocked :P ... as now i underclock it and thus i can run my games just like before...

i'll tell again if theres any probs, but before that, what is this memtest doing or telling? just want to know more... and what can we get from the results provided? thanx for ur helps btw...
