Re: Thinking Of Going For A 9600gt ?
Naw, if your going to spend that much look for a g92 8800 gt. That card is a weird off brand and the 1gb isn't going to help it much. Also make sure you have a good 500w or better psu for either cards before you buy.

Re: Thinking Of Going For A 9600gt ?
i know what your saying a 8800gt has 112 pipelines and the 9600gt has 96 but because the 9600 is a new chipset the pipelines produce higher frame rates than a 8800gt and to have 1gb of ram isnt going to hurt

Re: Thinking Of Going For A 9600gt ?
From many benchmarks it's been proven the 8800GT runs faster than the 9600GT. Also, having 1Gb of RAM isn't going to make much difference when nothing uses it. 512Mb is adequate for pretty much every game nowadays.
