Question Dell 6400 Inspiron video driver (Vista to XP conversion issues)

Uninstalled Vista, installed XP, video driver not being entirely awesome at alll, in fact it's not working.

In my video driver adapter properties, this is what it says in the conflicting

Input/Output Range 03B0 - 03BB used by:
Mobile Intel(R) 945GM/PM/GMS/940GML/943GML and Intel(R) 945GT Express PCI Express Root Port - 27A1
Input/Output Range 03C0 - 03DF used by:
Mobile Intel(R) 945GM/PM/GMS/940GML/943GML and Intel(R) 945GT Express PCI Express Root Port - 27A1
Memory Range 000A0000 - 000BFFFF used by:
Mobile Intel(R) 945GM/PM/GMS/940GML/943GML and Intel(R) 945GT Express PCI Express Root Port - 27A1

I tried to install what i thought the driver was, but I'm unsure if this is the correct driver, as it is not working

Error reads:
This computer does not meet the minumum requirements for installing the software.
Setup will exit.

Re: Dell 6400 Inspiron video driver (Vista to XP conversion issues)

I have a G-force 7300 card in my Dell 6400s & I have issues as well. Here is my work-around.

I've uninstalled the video drivers and then reinstalled them in the safe mode. This could take several tries, but it does work. Do not change the resolution settings once the drivers are successfully installed because it usually screws the installation up and you have to uninstall and reinstall again...

Did you find a better solution?
