Connecting GeForce 9600GT to TV

I had this little problem connecting my PC to my TV... When I first connected it and also configured the Nview thingy, it worked fine, but there was one problem. The colors were messed up and instead of Windows XP's blue font, the TV turned it to green and other colors were messed up as well.

I thought of changing the color depth and resolution, but when I did, the TV just started showing noise and I couldn't connect my regular monitor back. I solved that pretty quick by going to safe mode and uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.

Then, I reconfigured it again, connected it to the TV and with the color problem still there, the corners of the screen gone missing, as a frame was blocking the sides of the screen. I couldn't see the taskbar and the star button as well as the whole first row of shortcuts on the desktop (in this case My Documents, My Computer, Recycle Bin and etc.). I thought it was because I changed the resolution, so I changed it again (all the options I had were 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768) . It did change it properly this time, but it didn't solve anything, the "frame" was still there with every resolution possible... And, of course, the colors were still messed up.

Btw, my TV is pretty old so... I didn't expect much of it, but I want to at least watch movies properly without stealing my parent's DVD all the time ^^' So if someone knows the solution for this, I would be really grateful if someone could help.
