SimCity Societies Unable to find valid device

I saw someone else asked about this but from what I have checked I do meet the minimum requirements. Any thoughts would help.

ASUS EN5900/TVD/128 GeForce PCX5900 128MB 256-bit DDR PCI Express x16 Video Card is the graphics card I have. I know its around 2 years old but it has the min req.

Re: SimCity Societies Unable to find valid device

Welcome to tsf. The 5 series probably doesn't support the newer technologies such as shader model 3 and directx 9 that the game needs, the 5 series is actually more like 4 years old. While it does just meet the minimum amount of ram it probably doesn't support the rest of the accelerations.

Probably a good 8600 , this one pretty good

You should also consider a faster cpu and maybe more ram too.
