Possibly 8600GTS fatally flawed?

So recently I've tried connecting my graphics card to my TV and it worked fine but today I had to unplug the cord from the graphics card because I was moving pc and when I plugged it back in, I'm guessing it messed up the video memory or something in my card because now I'm getting a pink checker field on anything that has any real visual effects (direct3d, rendering, etc)

I've tried updating drivers, taking card out and back in, switching pci-e slots, cleaning out fans, etc everything failed, does anyone have any tips on what to do that might fix this or is it a hardware failure and I need to replace it?

It's not overheating and it's not my power supply. An example of this issue would be here:

Nono the TV output will not work anymore, when I plugin tv it's just black. It detects it on the PC but the TV itself isn't detecting any picture.

Re: Possibly 8600GTS fatally flawed?

Which output are you using the the television? Is it the same port as the one you normally use for your monitor?

Ah okay, I use DVI with my television - didn't realise you had a TV-Out! Can you try the hardware in another computer?
