small vertical bars
About 2-3 months ago i was playing a game and all of a sudden the screen froze, and this red rectangle checkard pattern came across the screen. The system shut down and attempted to reboot. Apon rebooting there was little white vertical bars about 2x1 or 2x4 pixels... cant tell ... on the black screen with white writing. boot screen has columns of just dots. and it wont boot every time. Ity will boot fine if this little bar prob isnt present.
It first started with vista home basic. i wiped the HD and installed 2000 thinking it was a vista prob. But the prob was still present in 2000. ive been told its the os (2000). so i put vista back and its no better. Im lost and without my good pc. anyhelp thought would be greatly helpful. sorry for the huge post tried to explain it all. specs... xfx nvidia 7900 gs xion psu think 400 or 450 asus p5b mother board wetern digital 250gb HD intel e6600 2.4ghz processor 2000 with sp4 .... prob started in vista HB |
