[SOLVED] Display resoultion

Hey guys,
I turned my computer off last night and when i turned it on today the resoultion had automatically changed itself i have 22" monitor and when i went to change it back to 1680x1050 that resoultion had dissappeard i have 14 other ones still there but the 1680x1050 one disappeared and its the only one that works and looks good with the monitor atm im using 1280x1024 cuz it looks nearly half decent. ive tried reinstalling drivers and stuff but 1680x1050 just doesnt come back any help is much appreciated thanks guys :)

hey, specs are
winsows xp
512mb ram
256mb Radeon 9550 video card
acer AL2216W
200gb HDD
and i have searched for updated drivers and they didnt fix the problem thanks again

hey,
i really dont no but i unplugged the monitor cable plugged it back in and turned the computer back on and 1680x1050 magically reappeared and its working great again but thanks anyways
