Not enough video memory

here's my problem, I have just installed a new card (nvidia 7300) and 1 gb of ram to run the new lost game. When I opened it it still said the game could not run because it needed at least 128mb of video memory, however my new card has 512mb, heck even my old one had that much. So why won't the game run and why does it say I don't have enough?

thanks.

Re: Not enough video memory

Looks like somethings not installed correctly. Right click your desktop then hit properties, then go to the settings tab , then hit advanced at the bottem. Next click the adapter tab , it should say there what your video memory is.

If its not 512 you might need to either redo or update the drivers, or change the agp apeture size in the bios.

Re: Not enough video memory

Have you reinstalled directx to the latest version? From the looks of it either directx or the game itself isnt detecting your 512mb card and its just reading as 1mb.

Re: Not enough video memory

directx 9 came with the game, and installed, should I try reinstalling? I did install the game before I installed the new card. Would that make a difference?

Re: Not enough video memory

Also, what is the total amount of ram installed with your 1gb upgrade?
