Building an SLI System.

Hey, I saw this board a few times over the last few days.
Was hoping you guys might help me.

Im currently looking at this mobo
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138575...ctype=extended

Now, its crossfire ready, does that mean its also SLI ready?

If not, Could you help me find a board that fills these requirements?

2 PCI Express slots (16x2)
SLI support
775 Socket type
ddr3 Ram.
1333+ FSB.

Any help is appreciated, Ive pulled my hair out the last 2 days.

You owe him a few beers! DDR3 is still too expensive for the relatively small speed increase.

Re: Building an SLI System.

Looked at the board, realised the price was in Euros, not dollars. Kinda outa my range :(

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130080 Was the Decided change.

Fills SLI requirement.
DDR2
1333 FSB
2 true PCI-E slots (16x16x8 anyone?)

Looking for a power supply on the cheep side, any suggestions?

Re: Building an SLI System.

Re: Building an SLI System.

Yes, the 9600Gt would be the same price.

But, I kinda enjoy the idea of SLI, its a cool concept to have two cards working. Also If I do decide to upgrade, Giving friends new video cards/selling is nice too.

Ill consider both.

However, Still.

power supply, anyone?

Re: Building an SLI System.

I still stick with my 9600 it atm is the only cost effecient card to sli, but if you really want sli with 8600's

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005 you could go alittle cheaper but this will last you along time and work with both setups
