Help me with my monitor please.

Okay recently my computers monitor has been having issues. It flashes from normal to a screen that says something about dell genesis display perfection. Recently it has been even flashing on and off by itself rapidly. I tried to replace the cable between the monitor and the computer and also have thrown in my old video card. Both times it improved slightly but quickly reverted to a worse state. I have a dell XPS that is about 3 years old and the monitor that goes with it. The video card was a mid ranged radeon that worked great up until now. Running windows xp with sp 2. Thanks in advance.

Re: Help me with my monitor please.

Yeah the odd thing is, it feels like working today, but not yesterday...

I have no idea how long it will last now. It is a relatively new monitor too. I'd prefer not to spend 150 dollars on a new one.

But that seems like the only option. I need to borrow another monitor to test it.
