[SOLVED] Graphics card RAM question

Does the RAM on your dedicated graphics card have to be the same as the RAM that your motherboard is compatible with? For instance if you had DDR3 on the graphics card, you would have to have DDR3 on your motherboard as well?

Thanks

Re: Graphics card RAM question

@onewaylife4all no it does not. It is just fine to have a different kind of RAM on your video card from your motherboard.
