Another nVidia nVictim - Please Help!
Hello! I recently installed a 256MB GE Force 7600 card. Upon driver installation, my screen intermittently goes black & then recovers (right from the get-go - not tied to graphics instensive apps or anything). I have tried the driver that came on the disc with the card, the latest driver from the Albatron website, the latest driver from the nVidia website, Omega drivers, NGO Drivers, old release nVidia drivers (APR 2007 version 9424). I got the Omega Drivers to work for 2 weeks, but now the black screen problem has returned. I've fully uninstalled each driver before installing the new - cleaning up with Driver Cleaner each time. My screen refresh rate is set to 60hz and the system works fine in safe / VGA mode. I'm running XP SP2, E6600, 2GB RAM, 500 watts PSU and have a HPw2207 monitor. I've spent hours trawling forums for possible fixes, but nothing has worked. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated - I've run out of ideas! Many thanks...
