Hey guys i recently purchased a gigabyte 8800gt card ...i setup it up and installed the latest drivers 169.21 whql certified but after installation all my icons get messed up SHARPNESS DISSAPEARS WIT CLEAR TYPE ENABLED so now which one shall i download and from where the gigabyte site or the nvidia site i am using windows xp sp2 .I have tried installing even the 163 whql drivers tht doesnt work for my card...in a big fix......someone help out....these drivers were provided with the driver cd with the card
i am using a corsair hx620w psu all cables new and gfx fan workin fine |

Well did you uninstall the drivers first? You should get the drivers from the Nvidia Site. When ever you install new video drivers your screen resolution Changes, that could mess up your icons. and depending on what type of card you had installed before, the settings of your monitor could of been set to different Birghtness and Contrast levels. With a stronger video card the settings could be amped up alot
When ever i install new hardwear in to my computer i reformat my PC, but thats just me. |

Right click your desktop and go to "Properties," then the "Settings" tab. Make sure the proper video card is selected and that the resolution and color are not set way low.
