Geforce 8600GT 512mb DDR2- automatically shutting the system

Hi, I have newly installed 8600GT 512mb DDR2. But once i actually start playing any game, say after 5 to10 mins. suddenly my entire system gets kind of shut and stops responding(Full black out). I have to swith the main power off and then restart. There is no issue however when i am not playing.
Do i need a new power unit or mother board or otherwise?
System Details:
P4, 3.00GHz / Windows XP Pro (SP2) / Intel 915 GAV Mainboard / 350W power unit / 1.5 GB DDR I 400 MHz (512 mb+1gb) / PCI Express *16 slot

Hey.

Your underpowered, when your gaming the Video card requires more power and 350watts just isnt providing enough. Take a Look at the Antec trio 550W
