[SOLVED] whats the best 512vid card for a dell e521?


i want to upgrade my vid card card from a 256vidcard(radeonx1300) to a hi end 256 or a 512 vidcard-- im running amd athlon dual core- dell e521

yes , if needed........somebody i was talking to said i could use a EVGA 256-P2-N615-TX GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card without a psu upgrade!

what is your budget?

you could upgrade your psu, and run a 8800GT card.

the EVGA 7600GT 256MB has a minimum 350w requirement. i believe that the dell might just be enough, depending on what other components are being powered. do you really want to risk it with a brand new card, though?
