Video Card Problem

I have installed my Chaintech Geforce 8600GT fine on Vista, with an Intel D975XBX2 motherboard. The install was fine, video is fine, but sometimes it seems that games cannot detect my video card. One instance was when I tried to play Pariah, and no video card was detected, and also now when I am trying to by Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. It says that I need at least OpenGL 1.3, and I know this card has OpenGL 2.0. Thing is, I play Battlefield 2, C&C Tiberium Wars, Star Wars Battlefront 2 with no problem.

Any ideas?

Re: Video Card Problem

Try updating your bios to its latest version. My motherboard couldn't detect my 2600xt under vista a while ago, found a bios version that corrected the problem and it worked fine after that.
