Re: My computer will not display graphics

Hi

Clear CMOS:

Get rid of static electricity by touching a radiator or bare metal on the computer case.
Then unplug the computer from the wall outlet and open the case.
Remove the little "coin-like" battery on the motherboard.
Move the "clear CMOS" jumper on the motherboard from pins 1&2 to pins 2&3.
Wait 15 minutes.
Replace the jumper to pins 1&2.
Put the battery back.
Close the case and start the computer.
Enter BIOS and choose "Load setup defaults" (or something similar) - save and exit BIOS.

Re: My computer will not display graphics

Did you clear CMOS?

Also - take the video card out, then put it back.
Check the monitor connections.

Re: My computer will not display graphics

Hi typh3r!!

Can you hear the sound of the operating system starting up?

Try to unplug the monitor, and turn on the monitor. What is the message you see on the monitor when it is turned on being unplugged from computer?

Re: My computer will not display graphics

So, the computer doesn't boot up? You can't hear any sound of computer start up at all?

And, what is the message you get when try to start monitor separately from the computer?
