Input not supported when installing a new card
Hi
So i was just helping a friend upgrade to a new graphics card I removed his old card (an AGP Geforce), and plugged in his new RadeonX1650 Pro (Also AGP). Everything is going fine, i see the windows loading bar, but after windows loads, my monitor gives me an "Input not supported message". I reinstalled his old card, thinking it could be a driver problem, and uninstalled his old Nvidia drivers. After restarting, the old card now also gives me an "input not supported message" So now, i essentially cant even get into windows with either card. I have tried it with a different monitor, with similar results comp stats: xp pro sp1 512mb ram gigabyte motherboard Any help greatly appreciated Last edited by mr_lemon; 02-08-2008 at 09:51 PM. |
