Nvidia 8600GT fan problem
Hey, basically the fan on my video card was making a funny noise, so i took it off the graphics card and cleaned it out, I then put it back together and now it doesn't seem to be spinning at all, it jitters.
What would you all recommened for me, I think the graphics card my still be under warranty, however one of the plastic holding clips has chippied slightly, it is screws in and holds there fine. Would you say buy a new fan and attach it, if so, fowhat fan would you recommend and what website woudl you say order it from etc. Would you take the chance of trying to get it replaced, and hope they dont spot the chip of the holder? I am open to all suggestions Any help is much appreciated. Thanks |
