Can you please post your specs too? Download and install PC Wizard from my sig. Open it and go to FILE, SAVE AS, and save the text file on your desktop. Then copy the contents of that file into this thread. cheers.

Re: BFG 7900 GT OC - Help!!
Assuming your XP is 32 bit, you have 4GB of RAM plus the onboard ram on the graphics card. Take out 1GB or more and i am sure that will sort out the memory thing. A 32bit operating system (windows xp 32bit) can only address 3.2GB (including graphcis).
Take out 2GB to be sure (assuming it is 32Bit Windows) Then restart your computer and post the PC Wizard text. Im going to bed now, but in the meantime, (if PC Wizard works), try the 7900 card again. I think it will work with the ram removed. Remember, add up the graphics card and the ram memory capacity, and dont exceed 3.2gb for a 32 bit system.

Re: BFG 7900 GT OC - Help!!
Remove one stick of ram. Let me know if you need help, but essentially, there will be two white levers on either side of the ram modules, press firmly down on each side (with the computer off) and the ram will pop out. Leave the other one in and try the 7900.
