which is better?
I've got a question about graphics cards.
I'm NOT overclocking, just installing and using. for gaming without overclocking, is a 512 MB HD 2600 PRO (PCIE) better than a 256 MB 6600 PCIE, or not. if the former is worse, are there any better graphics cards I can get in teh ~90 dollar range? (max). |

Re: which is better?
Feature-wise the 2600 is superior but it's lackluster performance would negate any feature advantage.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130062 I have two of those cards in an SLI setup and even alone they work very nicely. It's a much better card than the 6600 you were looking at.

Re: which is better?
I already own the 6600, but am looking for an upgrade.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...726&CatId=1560 would that be better than the 6600? if not, what do you think would be the best graphics card I could get with a price max of 90$ |
