Oblivion - video card
Okay, this question is simple enough I think.
I've bought The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and am getting problems that this appears to describe. My video card reads "ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP." The list of supported video cards on Bethesda's support site includes ATI Radeon 9800, 9700, 9600, and 9500. I presume that this means that 9000 is too old. For the record, I for one suspect that there is nothing that can be done about this other than upgrading my video card - but I don't really know what I'm talking about. And my dad is insisting that there might be some kind of "downloadable fix" for this problem (I suppose something that makes the game support this card...?) that has been created since the game originally came out. So, I'm asking; given the list of supported video cards, and given the one I have, is there anything I can possibly do about this other than buy a new video card? |
