Can a 2.0 slot video card fit in a 16x slot? I see the actual shape of the 2.0 is identical to the 16x.

I would venture to guess, yes but at 16x...

Yes they will but if it is a pci express 1.0you may need to put the card into a 1.1 or 2.0 machine to update it.
