Recommended Video Card, possibly psu, for DIM 9100

Im looking for a good video card that has good gafix. I am somewhat blind in choosing the right card. I just base off of reviews/what is selling/ratings.

Dimension 9100 Desktop

Specs: (stock everything except memory)
Dual Core 2.8GHz
Radeon x600 (lol)
2 GB RAM (forgot what speed, upgraded level above stock tho)
pci x16

So I like what I have right now, the memory upgrade did WONDERS all around.

So primarily what card would be a good match? This is for gaming like oblivion mostly (can currently run medium settings with some hesistation) , HL2 runs nice now also, but not ridiculous like crisis or any 2007+ games. I want to have it be highly upgraded but not overkilled, because apparently bottlenecking can occur!

Limit of around $300 (but if theres a huge performance gap with a price difference of $40 or something thats good too). Also wouldnt mind a decoration of some sort on the card lol.

Looking at...

8800GT 512MB 256-bit $290
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130303

or.. kinda leaning on this one...

8800GT 512MB 256-bit $310
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150254

or stepping down a notch, but popular...

8600GT 256MB 128-bit $100
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150229

Also I would have to get a new psu right? hmm

I agree, look at the PSU listed above and the eVGA card in your first link.
