[SOLVED] DVI digital not working?

as far as I know the DVI cable should work, but i have no way of testing it

When i use the DVI to VGA adapter with the LCD as analog, i get display. But i can't get a pure digital feed on either port.

What gives?

MSI 7800GT.

MSI 7800GT.

never mind, i got it. Had to tell it I was using a digital display through the display's drivers. IT's idling at 40C right now.
