X800XT overheat
I've have an X800XT for a few years. Earlier this year I upgraded drivers and started getting overheat errors whenever I was playing games. I uninstalled the Catalyst Control Centre and the problem stopped. I've since updated drivers again and reinstalled Catalyst and I'm getting the same problem again with temperature readings in the control centre reaching over 100C. Is this just a software issue or is there likely to be a more serious problem. Basically I don't want to uninstall Catalyst again so the problem stops if I'm going to end up frying the card by doing so.
EDIT: setup is as it came - I haven't done any overclocking Last edited by Will89; 12-13-2007 at 09:06 AM. |
