I am trying to get to the bottom of my system hanging, freezing and crashing. Can anyone identify if this Hardware Conflict report from my system is causing this problem?

Freezing......PCI bridge?
****UPDATE****- So I went and bought a new power supply for my computer. I had a 430 watt Truepower and I upgraded to a 650 watt Antec Trio. I was hoping this would resolve my dreezing problem. It DID NOT.
So, I am looking at my drivers for my Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT KO and notice that they are like 5 years old. So I run an update and get the Dec. 2007 Drivers. Still did not fix my problem. Now I am looking at my PCI for PCI-to-PCI bridge drivers and they are from 2001. Which is crazy considering that the computer was custom built last year. How do I update my drivers on my motherboard and PCI? Last edited by thesodakid; 01-15-2008 at 12:17 PM. |

Re: Video card causing hangs, freezes, crashes?
It looks like your chipset drivers haven't been installed. You can find them on your motherboard CD or at the manufacturer's website. Install and reboot.
Is this the graphics driver you updated to? ForceWare Release 169 (19-Dec'07)
