BFG and their wonderful Lifetime guarantee...
Hi, I have a BFG graphics card with a lifetime guarentee. I am having overheating issues at the moment, and although it's not affecting performance right now I'm not happy about something running at almost 100 degrees centigrade (i know!) on my shiney new mobo. The issue is that the design of the card's cooler is rubbish, and acts like a giant vacuum bag, clogging everything with dust. I have spoken to BFG about sending the card in to get it sorted and they were down with that, but were pretty non-committal on what they would do with it and how long it would take. My question is - anyone else used their replace/repair facility, and if so what has been your experience?
If it's going to be a case of repeatedly sending it back because they don't fix the issue then I may as well buy a new one. |
