Ive asked this question many times but this time its for real!!!!!
Im in the process of overclocking. So far i havnt increased my clock, shader or memory settings. Im just looking at the temps. Im using the latest ATi Tool to scan for Artifacts and Rivia Tuner to OC. After running the test for 30mins my GPU core got to 77-79c with a fan cycle of 60, if i turn the fan cycle to 100 the temps stay below 68c (Idle temp seems to be around 65c). How much impact on the GPU fans life will it have if i left the cycle on a constant 90-100. Then how high should i OC. Should i take 5mhz steps or 10mhz steps on all clocks. Also what is the Max safe operating temp of the 8800GTS, the default smart fan says "T operating 82c" then "T low Limit 72c" and "T high limit 92c"
