Hi, I have had a problem with an ATI AGP card, it was causing all sorts of error messages and reboots so I got a new one. It was OK for about 4 months and the same problems started again then I removed the actual card and resinstalled it. No problems for another 5 months. Problems started again so I did the same again and now it's fine. WHY???
Currently my card is a ATI Radeon, RX9250 by MSI. My motherboard is an ASUS P5P800 with a 775 socket. Thanks!! |

Re: video cards cause crashes
Make sure your AGP socket is free from dust. Clean the AGP contacts with a pencil eraser to ensure good contact. Post your specs, particularly your power supply unit. ps welcome to the forum.
