no s-video
i have a radeon x1300/x1550 series type of graphics card. its a pci express if you dont already know. umm i cant get the s-video to work on it. i have used the catalyst and stuff but nothing works and it grrrs me. im not sure what to do. my computer is from dell and no one knows what to do. they sent a tech guy out to replace it but his card that he put in did the same thing. am i supposed to turn something on? i dont know. anyways thankyou. Re: no s-video
S-Video is usually associated with TV screens and HD Monitors (Tho most use DVI).
If your trying to use the S-Video for a TV then you need to open the catalyst control panel and scroll/search for TV setup or something along the lines. You then need to scan for the TV, sometime the system cannont find the TV there should be a force option. That will make the S-Video link active even if the system thinks there is no TV
