Problem with ATI Radeon Powercolour 9600Pro card
Hi, i've recently bought the Powercolour's ATI Radeon 9600Pro agp 4x/8x card. However, when i installed it into my pc and booted it up, the monitor remains blank even though the power to it is turned on. I've replaced it with a nvidia geforce2x series card and it does work as well as by using the integrated card. I have uninstalled the integrated card from the bios and set the graphics to AGP before trying the 9600pro but to no avail as well.
My CPU: Dell Optiplex Gx270 minitower 1 additional DDR SDRAM 256mb rams Nothing added It has come to my attention that it could be a PSU problem but i'm not sure how to exactly check this. And if it is, may i have a recommendation for a graphics card that will be supported but still be able to run games like team fortress 2? ( that require directx 8 and above support ) Thank you |

Re: Problem with ATI Radeon Powercolour 9600Pro card
Okay... i somehow managed to get it up and running ( by connecting 1 of the ports to my psu directly )... though now when im in game (team fortress 2), sometimes the whole screen just goes pixely... like... lots of purple dots and green dots appear and the whole graphics goes mad O.O
