need help

i have a new video card visiontek hd 2400 pro avg

i keep getting 3d accelerator disabled

i have athon xp 3200+ 1gb ram 2.20ghz but i have onboard video too geforce2 motherboard i'm told anyone please help me i'm not to computer savvy

You are going to have to enter the bios (tap F1 or F2 or DEL during the first 30sec of boot) and look for the onboard graphics and disable it, then look to make sure that during start up that the PCIe video is set to enable before onboard video, save and reboot, you cannot have both the onboard video and a videocard enabled at the same time. You will also need to remove the drivers for the onboard video before you install the drivers for the new videocard
