Blurriness from my new card

I ordered a BFG 8600GT off of newegg and received it yesterday. I installed the latest drivers for my card, and everything seemed to be working fine except for a bit of blurriness. Nothing really looks sharp like a 8600GT should. I tried installing new monitor drivers but they were up to date and didn't fix anything. Is there anyway I can get rid of this blurriness and make my images sharp?

Re: Blurriness from my new card

If you're using a CRT with a high refresh rate (85Hz and above) then some blurriness may be present. If you're using an LCD make sure that you're using the native resolution otherwise the screen will be blurry.

Re: Blurriness from my new card

I believe I am using the native resolution: 1280 x 1024. I've tried different resolutions, and the blurriness goes away as I make my resolution bigger, but it's irritating because my old card used the same resolution and there was no blurriness.

P.S. I'm using an LG LCD.
