Help with new GT 8800 Over clocked

ok heres what keeps happing to me ive just bought a Geforce 8800 gt over clocked out of the box for my custom hand built home made rig the mobo does nt have an on board graphics card and when i turn on my pc the screen stays black i cant install my drivers for it i dont know what to do ive done every thing i can think of Graphics

tap f8 when booting and choose low resolution mode
disable a/virus
install your drivers
reboot
did you check that you have enough power to run the card the screen should come up without the divers loaded

yeah my psu is 650 watts

what brand of psu
have you connected the aux power plug to the m/board

if your not hearing the single post beep
check the card is seated ok
while you have it out see if you hear the bios error beeps that it is missing
try a cmos reset

my pc turns on but the screen is still black i turn the screen on and off when i turn it on it says no signal the cables are all pluged in there are no beeps its runnig fine but theres no disply

That happened to me, except my mobo gave one long beep, so I figured it was my vid card and bought a new one.

the thing is my mobo doesn't beep or anything it runs like its on but the card isnt reading i guess

try using a different pci e power connecter

have you checked it with the card out to see if you get the beep error code or not

yes i did no beebs i took out the ram and but it back in still nothing

see if you can borrow another psu to try in it
