DDR3 128 Not worth it?

I'm considering buying this

And I note that it's memory is only 128 bit. Will the card suffer much for that? And if so is it worth waiting a month with only a voodoo 3, for the chance that an 8800 may drop into my price range?

512MB of DDR3 VRAM will be choked without mercy by a 128-bit bus.

So is it worth hoping for a price drop on a 8800, or would going with a card with fast 256 memory?

I'd wait for the BlackFriday specials to come in before dropping cash on anything.
