Problems With Bootup
I had an unusual problem with my computer in regards a system drive being disconnected. As I disconnected my zip drive from the power supply my whole computer turned off. When I rebooted the machine it no longer shows a screen so I can reach the BIOS. I had a screen before I did this and now it's a no go.
I get a light on the motherboard but no beeps or anything. I can hear the hard drive and other drives working normally. I was told that it could be my video card because if it was my motherboard then I'd be getting continuous beeps. Could this disconnection zap my video card? Any thoughts? All this happened after I had to re-arrange everything after an agp440.sys problem caused my screen to go black after the Windows XP loadup (splash) screen. |
