I'm the the most wizard on computers (hence coming here). I have a video card with 3 outputs, two for moniters and one for a TV. In adition to the ones on the graphics card i also have the old one that was on my pc when i bought it. I have two moniters but they are both CRT connecters and both of the outputs are DVIs. I have one CRT to DVI adapter and thats what ive been using but i am wondering two things:
1) how the hell i connect it two a tv. I got with is an odd looking adapter with a 3 socket number on it (eg like a scart to L, R and V adapter for an Xbox or summat) only the three colours insted of being Yellow Red and White are Green Blue and Red. At the other end it has an S-video type plug which i assume goes in the pc. Other than that i havnt a clue what its for. I also have a 2 ended 2 way s-video lead which i assume is for TV to PC directly. Only my TV has no s-video socket. So im guessing the 3 socket thing comes in somewhere but i cant work it out. and 2) Whether i can use the one that was on my tower al ready as the second socket for the second moniter and still ave it work with the DVI in my new vid card. Plz hellp!!
