Odd Overlay bug
Whenever I watch a video, it appears too bright. It wasn't Windows Media Player's settings so I right-clicked the nvidia icon in the toolbar and clicked Colour Correction to fix it.
As soon as the colour correction window opened, the video playing returned to normal brightness. The settings in the colour correction window were at default. Thinking it had fixed it I carried on with what i was doing. I watched the video and closed it. But then a few hours later I watched another video and the exact same thing happened. It's happened for a while now, and I just thought I'd get it fixed. I have a nVidia 7600GT with the 163.71 drivers installed. I'm fairly convinced it's the driver's fault, because my previous drivers (162.18) didn't have this problem, albeit the drivers before that (94.24) had the same problem on occasion. It's not a big problem, but is there a way to fix it? |

Re: Odd Overlay bug
I remember having problems with video brightness that were related to the drivers as well. Only fix was to try new drivers!
I also suggest visiting www.codecguide.com and getting Media Player Classic. You can use that to override certian settings so the drivers won't be an issue.
