Sli!!
Hi all
,I am curious, I am in the market for a new Video Card. With the Call of Duty 4 and Eniemy Territory: Quake Wars on the way, i want to be able to play these games the way they are intended to played. Currently I have two BFG 7600 OC's in SLI mode, and it runs the demo for Enemy Territory: Quake wars o.k. with the majority of the settings set at medium. I am no planning on breaking the bank on this investment, so here are my options: 1) Two 8600 GTS Superclocked from EVGA or 2) One 8800 GTS from EVGA I am running SLI right now, and it has been treating me well. Which would be the best bang for my buck for the games I want to run?

Re: Sli!!
I just built my buddy a computer and it is, as they say, "Teh Pwn!". It has this one:
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16814150215 :which has a better core clock than any other 8800gts on the market. The EVGA you speak of only has 580, this XFX has 600. And, it comes with a free copy of Lost Planet. I played a little bit of Lost Planet on his computer with XP and DX9.0c, and it was simply stunning on full graphics. Maxed out at 60fps. In closing, the 8800GTS is a dynomite card. If you pair it with a really good power supply, you can't be beat.
