Scrambled screen on boot up

Hi guys I have a ATI Radeon EAX-X1900 XT-X 512mb G/C.
Everything has been running fine until 3 days ago when my pc locked up.
I reset the pc and on the reboot all I got was a black screen the it went scrambled and won't go past that.

I turned it of and left it for 12 hrs and rebooted it and it booted normally, after 2 days of being on it locked up and has now gone back to the scrambled screen.

Here are my specs

Ati Radeon EAX-X1900 XT-X 512mb (pci express)
2 x Western Digital 250GB Hard Drives
FSP Sparkle FX700-GLN Epsilon 700w ATX2.0 PSU
Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Crossfire Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core 4200+
Corsair 2GB DDR Pro Twin

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance

Idea Re: Scrambled screen on boot up

have you tried the on board card or setting the card you want to use as the default? oh and before you switch your monitor to a new card always set your new video card as the default otherwise you'll run into several problems
