Scrambled screen on boot up
Hi guys I have a ATI Radeon EAX-X1900 XT-X 512mb G/C.
Everything has been running fine until 3 days ago when my pc locked up. I reset the pc and on the reboot all I got was a black screen the it went scrambled and won't go past that. I turned it of and left it for 12 hrs and rebooted it and it booted normally, after 2 days of being on it locked up and has now gone back to the scrambled screen. Here are my specs Ati Radeon EAX-X1900 XT-X 512mb (pci express) 2 x Western Digital 250GB Hard Drives FSP Sparkle FX700-GLN Epsilon 700w ATX2.0 PSU Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Crossfire Motherboard AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core 4200+ Corsair 2GB DDR Pro Twin Any Ideas? Thanks in advance |

have you tried the on board card or setting the card you want to use as the default? oh and before you switch your monitor to a new card always set your new video card as the default otherwise you'll run into several problems
