Hey im like.....15 yrs old and i need help installing this graphics xcard, i just finishd putting in my extra ram and that was easy but.....
My Graphics card is a GeForce FX 5200 Ok heres my problem, for one, i know how to install it ...kinda....what gets me is this, in the manual it says i have to go to add/remove programs and remove any graphics utilities that might be installed......Do I really have to do that? And if i do can you help me to accoplish this? Um also i have no other graphics card besides the one integrated on my motherboard or what ever, do i still have to Uninstall my graphics card?? And note: Im 15, i dont have enough molahs to get an uber graphics card so dont flare me for having this card. Last edited by Clowde; 09-06-2007 at 09:10 PM. Reason: Remebered something... |

Re: Need help Installing!
Hi, welcome to TSF
![]() You have to remove the old video driver in Control panel > Add or remove programs. Then you have to disable the onboard graphics in BIOS before you install the new video card. If you tell us what motherboard you have we can give you more precise instructions. |
