[SOLVED] 2 different cards in pcie slot
can i run two different ati video cards in two pcie slots on one board ?
not in crossfire just for 4 displays ? let me know thanks

well just got a saphire 2600xt pcie will test tonight. if it works i might sell the x1600pro and buy another one or an x1950gt cause that performs better as the 2600xt right now except dx10

You can use two different cards withour issues, you just wont have crossfire campable system. and you can use all four displays.
at least thats how it works with nvidia cards, I even seen system with a combo nvidia ati |

yeah works fine running 1 monitor on the 2600xt and the other two on the x1600 now i just have an issue with the computer rebooting with i exit a full screen game ... we will see how i solve this i believe its a driver issue or some related thing.
